Options - E-mail - More

Some times a SMTP server requires authentication, you can check the checkbox if you need this option.

If checked you can fill in your smtp server user name, you will be asked for your password when actually sending an e-mail.

If you want to use Transport Layer Security (TLS), you first have to install it, with for example OpenSSL.

You can read about OpenSSL on their homepage at  http://www.openssl.org.

A windows installer can be found at Shining Light Productions, as the playbook program is 32bit the Win32 light version should be used.

If you like this product please support them. Don't forget that OpenSSL is subject to local and state laws. More information can be found in the legal agreement of the installation.

Some providers also use a different port, just fill in the different port number to change this.

Pressing the OK button will store the changes and bring you back to the Mail identity window.

The Cancel button will bring you back to the main window, no changes will be made.
