Warming up
Playname: Four corners

This is a warm-up drill to get players moving and shooting. When the keeper is ready, add to drill. Keeper should be warmed up prior to this drill.

Split team into four groups and arrange as shown.  Do not allow players to move closer together.

Drill starts with a long pass to the top of the penalty box.

Next a pass is made down to the player on the goal line.

Players run starts as ball is passed down.  Run is to the penalty spot and no lower.  This is to protect the keeper from point blank shoots.

Player must time run with pass, so that both arrive at the same time.

Player plays first touch to goal.

Players rotate clockwise to the end of the line.  Be sure to start from the other side to work both left and right foot.
